As environmental stewards to the Wilapa Bay in the southwest corner of Washington, the Ekone Oyster Company has been sustainably harvesting, smoking and packaging the finest tasting oysters around for over 35 years. Started by Nick and Joanne Jambor in 1982, they adopted the name Ekone, a Chinook word for "Good Spirit", and have embodied that spirit through good management practices not only in their cannery but the beautiful bay where their oysters grow.
